Wow. Not only did Mike Huckabee win, he won huge. He has shown that the model for American politics is absurd. You do not have to be wealthy and out of touch. You do not have to be negative and nasty. You do not have to say what you think people want to hear and compromise any beliefs you have. American politics is , once again, about Hope. It is about having a message to inspire Americans. It is about believing in the American idea and dream. Both winners in tonight's primary are offering a message of Hope and Optimism.
The American people have spoken. With a loud and clear voice they have demanded change. They are tired of negative politics. They are tired of divisiveness. We need a leader to bring the nation together. To lead and not divide. To inspire and not damper. As Mike has said, "To bring America up." The Huckabee message has won tonight. It is about vertical politics. Is it about compassion. It is about "we." Let's continue this journey, and see how far up America can go.
